Sport

Sport is an important part of the all-round development of students at St Paul's. The concepts of teamwork, fitness, personal discipline, companionship and competition are all essential ingredients for the world of tomorrow and as such they are further fostered at St Paul's, through participation in sport .

The School also recognises the growing climate of professional athletes, both nationally and internationally, and the many potential rewarding career options including coaching, sports administration, sport development, sports medicine and for the talented few, involment in their chosen sport at a high level.

The physical activity involved in participating in sport makes a positive contribution to the health of individuals, helps to develop confidence through improvement and achievement and teaches important group dynamic skills through teamwork. Involvement in sport has the potential to help individuals succeed within an environment of fair play. The challenge and enjoyment involved in training and games make a significant contribution to the overall pride our students have in both the School and their Houses.
