Parcels and Mail

Parcels can be mailed or put on the Tihoi minibus that travels to Tihoi from the St Paul's campus most Tuesdays. Items need to be delivered to St Paul's Reception by 3.30pm on Mondays to guarantee delivery.

Rural mail is delivered daily to the school and letters go straight to the boys. Parcels are distributed  through 'Tihoi Customs' and are checked for illicit goodies when boys open them.

If you need to courier parcels please use 'Courier Post' as other couriers do not deliver to Tihoi.

Meals and Birthdays

The dining room and kitchen facility is one of the meeting hubs of the school. All meals and meal planning comes from the kitchen including food for off site activities such as day tramps and marae visits.

Boys make and eat their own breakfast and evening meal in their house. Boys eat together at mid day in the dining room and generally enjoy a fully cooked meal.

Students with meal requirements such as food allergies or vegetarian, are easily catered for at Tihoi. Please inform staff of any special requirements your son may have.

Food supplied by the school is nutritionally adequate and ample in quantity.

Conditions at Tihoi may seem austere but this is purposely done to enhance the challenge of the place. Birthdays are an exception and a cake to share with the house 'makes the day'.
