Plates For Mates - Cookbook Project

  • "Plates for Mates" – Recipes from St Paul's is available for purchase.  This recipe book is the culmination of activity from many different individuals, each playing a part in completing the project.

With the 25th Jubilee celebration for girls attending St Paul's Collegiate School we thought this book would be a great opportunity to get the community involved.  We have had two of our Founding Girls contribute recipes, Ruth Walden and Roimata Templeton.  Many Founding Old Collegians from 1959 have also sent in their family favourites.

The book has been divided into five sections which, we believe, reflects the unique character of our school community; Great Outdoors - acknowledging the Tihoi experience of enriching students lives, First Flatters – encouraging students to take to the kitchen, Boarderlands – boarding life is an integral part of St Paul's Collegiate School, Local Favourites – many of our students live within commuting distance from the school, International Favourites – reflecting the diverse cultures present in the St Paul's community.

The recipe book is a great keepsake from which favourite recipes can be created and evolve, complimented with amazing photography by Nicola Topping.

Thank you to all those people who contributed their favourite recipes, to those who volunteered to cook the recipes, to the advertisers and donors and to you for supporting St Paul's Collegiate School.
