Assessment and Reporting Timeline
Key Points:
• All students/parents receive feedback termly
• All students/parents receive an attitude grade report early in the year
• All senior students/parents receive a further two full reports per year
• All parents of senior students have two parent/teacher interviews per year
• All junior students receive an attitude grade report, a further two full reports and have two parent interviews per year.
At the first interview, parents have the opportunity to meet the teachers. Staff have the opportunity of explaining to parents their expectations for the year. At the second interview, benchmark exam results can be discussed and holiday study sessions established.
Note: Specific times and dates are determined at the start of each year.

TERM ONE:
- Attitude grade reports posted – all levels
- Parent interviews for Years 9 and 10
- Parent interviews for Years 11 – 13 Boarder Parents
- Parent interviews for Years 11-13 Day Parents
TERM TWO:
- Year 9 exams and Year 9 Full reports posted
- Year 10 exams and Year 10 Full reports posted
- Years 11-13 Full reports posted
TERM THREE:
- Parent interviews for Years 9 and 10
- Benchmark exams Years 11-13
- Years 11- 13 results sheets emailed
- Parent interviews for all Years 11 – 13 Day Parents
- Parent interviews for all Years 11 – 13 Boarder Parents
- Full Year 13 Reports posted home
TERM FOUR:
- Cambridge exams begin
- Years 11 and 12 Full reports posted home
- All internals assessments completed by end of week two
- NCEA examinations begin
- Years 9 and 10 exams
- Full reports for Years 9, 10 and Year 13 Testimonials posted
