St Paul’s Collegiate School is one of New Zealand’s leading independent day and boarding schools with an Anglican tradition. Catering for boys from Year 9 to 13 and girls from Year 11 to 13, the School has a roll of approximately 700 students, 64 of who are, at any time, present at Tihoi Venture School situated on the western side of Lake Taupo.

LEADER OF CURRICULUM – ENGLISH (3MU+1MMA)
We seek a passionate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable person who will share in the schools drive for student success. As the Leader of Curriculum – English we are looking for someone that is a skilled and innovative teacher who has proven leadership skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to comfortably teach from Year 9 through NCEA and up to IGCSE Cambridge. Experience in teaching AS level would also be an advantage.
All of our students use either Chromebooks or Laptops as an integral part of their learning so a high level of ICT skills is required of applicants, as is support for and involvement with the school’s extensive co-curricular programme.
A competitive remuneration package is on offer, including Teacher Salary Scale + 3 MU + 1 MMA + St Paul’s Allowance. With relatively small class sizes and very motivated and self-disciplined students, staff enjoy the added benefits of working in the park-like grounds and are provided with cooked lunches during term times.
