St Paul’s Collegiate School is an independent Anglican secondary school in Hamilton, with a unique Year 10 residential campus, Tihoi Venture School, located on the western side of Lake Taupō. Tihoi offers students a residential programme that blends academic learning, outdoor adventure, and community living - a transformative experience delivered by a small and passionate team.
We are seeking a Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor to join our support staff team at Tihoi. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our site. Your work will help keep our facilities safe, tidy, and well-maintained so that students and staff can thrive. No two days will look the same - you might be repairing a latch, mowing lawns, coordinating a tradesperson, or checking vehicles before an outdoor trip, all within the same day.
We are looking for someone who is practical, organised, and calm under pressure, able to manage their own time and lead a small team. Experience in property, maintenance, trades, or caretaking is preferred. You’ll take pride in maintaining a safe environment and will need a full New Zealand driver’s licence.
This role is permanent, part-time (30–35 hours per week) and works year-round, spread across four or five days per week. At St Paul’s, our vision is cultivating educated contributors, and our mission is to inspire minds, build character, and shape futures. Excitingly, from 2026, we will welcome girls to St Paul’s, and from 2027, Tihoi will run three intakes each year, offering this unique experience to both boys and girls.
