Due to one of our English Teachers moving overseas, we seek a creative and innovative teacher to join our English Department as Assistant Leader of Curriculum. We’re looking for someone who has a solution-focused approach to education, places akonga at the centre of their pedagogy, seeks excellence in their practice, and has a commitment to and understanding of mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori. The ability to teach to up to NCEA Year 13 and Scholarship would be an advantage as is experience with the teaching of the Cambridge International Syllabus
The Assistant Leader of Curriculum works with the Leader of Curriculum and supports the department regarding curriculum delivery, curriculum content, assessment of student progress, reporting to parents, staff leadership and mentoring as well as involvement in the implementation of any new initiatives.
