Zoe Lapwood (Year 12) has been announced as a finalist of the Lion Foundation’s Songwriting Competition, which this year attracted the biggest field of entries in the competition’s history. More 400 songwriters and co-writers took part in the competition with one winner and 39 finalists announced.
As a finalist, Zoe was awarded a recording session at an Auckland studio which is valued at $750. She will record her composition, Fly High, which she submitted for the competition. She also received a $50 Rock Shop voucher.
