Basketball

Competition: Senior Boys 3 x 3 Regionals.

The Senior Premier team made the Grand Final, defeating Rotorua Boys’ High School in the quarterfinal and Mount Maunganui College in the semifinal, having previously lost to them 20–8 in pool play. They then went on to face St John’s College in the final, where they finished runners-up. This means the team qualifies for Nationals later in the year. 

The Senior Open team were undefeated through pool play, the quarterfinal, and the semifinal. They defeated Te Aroha in the quarterfinal and Hamilton Christian School in the semifinal, before going on to the final, where they finished second after losing to Tauranga Boys’ College. 

Cricket

Competition: Boys’ First XI Northern Districts Regional Qualifiers.

The team won three from three games and advance to Northern Districts Qualifying Final vs Tauranga Boys’ College in Term 4.

Competition: Girls’ First XI for Northern Districts Regional Qualifying Tournament.

The Girls’ First XI finished in second place for the Northern Districts region.

Competition: Colts XI Junior Secondary Schools Boys’ Cricket Invitational Tournament.

The Colts XI placed second in the tournament after a close final against Auckland Grammar School.

Golf

Competition: Waikato Secondary School Matchplay Champs.

Harry Macleod won the Division 1 quarter-final and semi-final. Harry narrowly lost the Championship Final.

Tennis

Competition: NZSS North Island Tennis Cup.

After a tournament in Wellington, the girls’ team finished second in their pool, and the boys placed fourth in their pool.

Volleyball

Competition: NZSS Volleyball Champs

Premier Girls: Finished second in their pool.

Waterpolo

Competition: North Island Secondary Schools

Highlights:

The junior boys competed as a development team.

The senior mixed team placed fourth in the North Island.
