St Paul’s year 13 student Kaitlyn Sosa, has been selected to compete for the New Zealand swimming team in December 2019.
Kaitlyn swam in six events in the highly competitive 17 and 18 year old age group at the NZ Short Course Championships in Auckland. She swam a personal best in the 200m freestyle which placed her fourth in her age group and won a bronze medal in the 1500m freestyle.
These results earned Kaitlyn selection into the New Zealand team who will compete in the New South Wales Open Water Championship in December. The event will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre and features the best swimmers in Oceania.
