Academic awards

St Paul’s Collegiate School encouraged students to try their very best in the classroom and rewards students for their efforts through the below listed awards programmes.

Scholars’ Ties

A Year 11 student must achieve a grade point average of 70% or more in five subjects including English and Mathematics. A Year 12 student must achieve a grade point average of 70% or more in four subjects. Scholars’ Ties are awarded at a special assembly.

Merit Awards

Merit Awards are awarded each term and are given to students who have achieved a certain number of merits. The Headmaster announces Merit Awards at assembly. Recipients of Merit Awards receive both a certificate and a movie voucher.

Headmaster’s Good Report Morning Tea

At the end of each reporting cycle, students with outstanding attitude grades on their reports are nominated by their housemaster to attend a Headmaster’s morning tea. This catered morning tea is an acknowledgement of those students who have applied themselves in a motivated and hardworking manner. This occurs across every year level.
