Arts/Cultural Awards Information and Criteria

There are four types of awards and criteria:

1. “Arts Hall of Fame” – Students or alumni who have represented New Zealand in a nationally auditioned and recognised ensemble (such as New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir) or a professional organisation. Students will have their picture on the wall in the music block once they obtain such a position.

2. “Excellence Arts Colour” – Junior (Year 9-11) and Senior (Year 12-13) students who have performed and achieved excellence in their art-form to an outstanding level. Students may have obtained a qualification such as Grade 8 in their chosen discipline, won a regional competition, played a significant role in a regional group as well as contributing enthusiastically to the performing arts at St Paul’s Collegiate for several years.

3. “Service Arts Award” – Students year 11 and above who have spent several years of dedicated, outstanding service and commitment to the Arts at St Paul’s and the wider community.
