Sports Administrator

St Paul’s Collegiate School is one of New Zealand’s leading secondary day and boarding schools situated in Hamilton with 750 day and boarding students.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic person to join our school Administration team.

In this role you will work with the Assistant Headmaster responsible for Sports and Culture assisting with the data collection and entry of extra-curricular activities and results in our school database (PC School), as well as providing support with the coordination of sports days, tours and exchanges, and with the planning and organisation of sports awards, cultural events and sports photos.

Your days will be busy and varied and as the go-to person in the Sports department you will have daily interactions with staff, parents and students – so you’ll need to be approachable, professional and personable.

To be a star in this role, you’ll need previous Administration experience, have strong IT skills – in particular with Word and Excel and be confident in learning new software and using technology. A genuine interest in sports and cultural activities, as well as experience in a school environment, would be distinct advantages to your application.

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week (to be worked over four or five days per week) when the school is in operation (40 weeks per year). Remuneration for this role is between $19 – $22 per hour, based on skills and experience.
