St Paul's girls' first XI played against Waikato Dio in their final grading game for the season. A messy start saw Dio go up 1-0 quite quickly, but a great goal from Georgia Burke had us back on equal terms. Unfortunately, towards the end of the first half, Dio kept their structure while St Paul's had a 10-minute lapse. The first half score was 4-1 which didn't reflect the strength of the St Paul's girls. The second half saw the midfield shut down the quick through-passes from Dio which previously resulted in shots on goal. An outstanding performance by Emi Ng and Amy Tombleson in the backs, strongly supported by Georgia Hogg saw the second half end scoreless. Final score was 4-1 to Dio.
