The St Paul's Development XV knew that it would be a closely contested game against HBHS Colts. Unfortunately, despite being the dominant team, lapses in concentration allowed the opposition to score 3 unanswered tries.
With weaknesses being identified at halftime, the St Paul's team spent the majority of the second half in the HBHS 22 and were eventually rewarded with a try. These were the only points of the half and evidence that the Develoment XV, when doing the basics well, can compete in this division.
