A 4-2 loss to Melville High School was disappointing given the level of skill and passing the St Paul's girls showed throughout the game. Georgia Burke was outstanding, scoring a solo effort, then combining well with Nelly Conway for the second. Two quick goals to Melville immediately after we had levelled at 1-1 sealed the result. St Paul's battled hard in the second half, and were unlucky on a few occasions not to score. The level of play has definitely improved over the season, and the second round of games should see St Paul's get some better results.
