In the first pool game of the season, the St Paul's U16B rugby team played against Hamilton Boys Red. We started off really cautiously and allowed the opposition to score 3 quick tries. But as the game progressed and our confidence grew, we managed to hold onto the ball for longer periods of time and were rewarded with a well worked try to Henry Carr. Final score was 19 - 7 to Hamilton Boys and players of the day were George Fullerton-Smith and George Hayward.
