For the first time this season Open A had their full team court side and fit to play. They faced Dio, confident but nervous after a close win by 5 last time. Dio is the top team in Hamilton to beat, and the Open A once again took out the win, this time 57 / 20 . The girls consistently shut them down through the mid court and any ball that got through was quickly snaffled up by the tight circle defence. In the third quarter Dio only scraped in with 3 goals shot. The weather and the odds were against them but Open A were the team to watch for fast, clean, fun netball.
