Sports' exchange

Venue: St Paul's
Result: Lost
Score: 0-3

This was a tough game played in a very good spirit. RSG put pressure on us from the opening whistle but our defense stood firm. We were without our captain Toni Anda and lost players through illness as the game progressed – so things got tougher. At half time there were no goals scored and our defenders had done very well, with Hinehou pulling off some very good saves and our defense of PC’s going well.

The second half continued much as the first with RSG applying most of the pressure. Our structure had tightened up but the girls were starting to tire with only one sub by this stage. The pressure started to tell and RSG were able to score three times in the second half to make the final score 0 – 3 in their favour. A disappointing result but a great effort from the team!
