The ‘Porcupines’ won their second competition match against Te Awamutu on Saturday. Leading 22-5 just after the break, they allowed Te Awamutu to get back into the game and had little possession for the final 20 minutes, but held on to win 22-19. Seb Ellice, Seton Mason, Matthew Bailey and Qiwen Fan scored tries. Matthew Bailey was Player of the Day, but James Wilkins and Seb Ellice also had a strong influence on the match.
