The girls travelled to Cambridge aware that this was an opportunity to get some points. However from the kick off the opposition showed excellent technical skills and ball retention and St Paul's were left chasing shadows. At halftime the opposition were deservedly 2-0 up. In the second half the girls harried the opposition more effectively and started to pass the ball more effectively. However, with injuries mounting and fatigue setting in, a couple of late goals left a scoreline which did not reflect the second half.
