Unlocking your child’s genius – how to discover and encourage your child’s natural talents.

As a clinical psychologist, Andrew Fuller aims to create with people, futures they can fall in love with. His work with over 2,000 schools and more than 500,000 young people has identified the concept of ‘The Resilient Mindset’ and the three main components of resilience – connect, protect and respect (CPR).

Andrew is the author of the best-selling Unlocking Your Child’s Genius; Tricky Kids; Life: A Guide; Raising Real People (ACER); From Surviving to Thriving (ACER) and Beating Bullies. He has also co-authored a series of programmes for the promotion of resilience and emotional intelligence used in over 3,500 schools in Britain and Australia. He is a Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Topics covered within this fun and informative session include, the active ingredients of resilience, how parents can develop these in their children, friendship and relationship skills, neurochemistry and parenting, parenting tricky kids, creating happy kids, building self-esteem and dealing with setbacks.
