Grandparents' Day 2026

Our students' grandparents are much-loved members of our school community and are welcome to join us on Grandparents' Day, Friday, 20 March 2026, at 9.30 am. This special morning is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your grandchild and experience life at St Paul’s Collegiate School.

Schedule for the day

  • 9.30 am - Grandparents’ Day Chapel Service (with Yr 13 grandchildren only attending)
  • 10.30 am - Meet your grandchild outside the Chapel
  • 10.40 am - Morning Tea with your grandchild
  • 10.45 am - Tour the campus with your grandchild
  • 12.00 pm - Event concludes

Arrival and Parking Two entry gates will be open for the event - Hukanui Road and St Paul’s Road (off Bankwood Road). You are welcome to use either entrance, and parking will be on the sports fields. Hukanui Road is the best option for mobility parking. Staff will be available at both gates to assist and direct you. There will also be three golf carts making trips from the carparks to the Chapel. 

Meeting your grandchild

  • Your grandchild will be lined up in their Houses once you leave the Chapel. Go directly to the House line to meet your grandchild.
  • Morning Tea will be served in two locations; your grandchild will guide you to either
  • Outside the Music Centre
  • Tuuaapapa, The Terrace

Family Photos

Three photographers will be taking family photos during the campus tours. You will find them in high-vis vests at the following locations:

  • Outside the Student Centre
  • Outside the Music Centre
  • Tihoi Garden (beside the Chapel)
  • Paul Dibble Sculpture (In the tear drop round about)

Helpful Information

  • Short walks across the school will be required during your campus tour
  • If you use a mobility scooter, wheelchair, or walker, please feel free to bring it
  • There will be three golf carts making trips around the campus if you need assistance
  • Please ensure your grandchild knows you are attending the day, so they can be in their House line to meet you
