Future Pathways

Helping students plan their future is a key priority at St Paul’s Collegiate School.

Students at St Paul’s Collegiate are provided with future pathways and support in making vocational/educational decisions.

The Future Pathways Facilitators, Mr JT Thomas and Mr Dan Bair, provide students with a range of information and experiences which encourage them to make informed choices about their future education, training and career pathways within and outside school.

It is expected that all Year 12 and 13 students will meet with the Future Pathways Facilitators at least once in terms one, two and three. In addition, any Year 10 and 11 student can make an appointment to discuss subject choices and possible career areas of interest

Career Central

Transitioning from school can be stressful. There are so many choices for young people that it can sometimes seem overwhelming. Career Central is a tool to assist students in exploring their options as they develop their career plans and is available to all students. This platform allows teachers and Future Pathways Facilitators to see students’ skills, values, goals, and interests (including occupational and tertiary interests) to assist them in making informed choices as they transition through and beyond school. Within Career Central is the BULLS-EYE – Careers Quiz which can help with career choices.
