In atrocious weather, the St Paul's Colts ‘B’ football team took on Hillcrest High School’s Junior Boys ‘Blue’ in their first league for this season.
A very even first half saw Hillcrest go ahead by 1 goal just before half time. In the second half St Paul's equalised through a great goal by Joseph Dean.
Final score 1 all. Player of the day was Blair Wells. A truly great team effort to start the official season.
