St Paul's played an outstanding first half of rugby – their best of the season, to completely dominate a strong St John’s team. Five tries were scored with the forwards led by standout captain Daniel Johnson providing great ball which the backs used skilfully and effectively. The second half was a much more even affair. Late in the half St John's scored 3 quick tries and threatened to steal the match however a great solo try from Albert Talakai sealed a memorable win. It was a fitting send off to the boys in the team who leave for Tihoi. Tries were scored by Sam Ogilvy 3, George Hayward, Mercedes Hodge, Alex Jackson, Albert Talakai.
