We made a strong start to the game and dominated early play. The Te Awamutu defence left some gaping holes and we fully took advantage of this, scoring early tries. By half time we had scored 4 tries and we were well in control.
We started the second half well, using the wind to our advantage. Clay Richardson played a good tactical game.
Te Awamutu made a strong comeback to score three late tries. We were tired and missed too many tackles.
Harry Coxhead scored a late try (his first for St Pauls) to seal the win.
