St Peter’s lifted their intensity in the second half, nullifying many St Paul’s movements, with strong defense. St Paul’s struggled to gain any momentum and were often forced into errors. St Paul's; eventually managed a third try with Tyrell Martin again converting.

The game ended with St Peter’s scoring a consolation try right on full time, to make the final score 21-12. The boys were happy with the win but disappointed that they never got the bonus point, which was vital to make the top four of the Chiefs Cup.
