We faced a tough opposition and knew we would have to play well. Our forwards dominated early play and we managed to score two tries. Braden Pikalhof also converted a penalty.
At half time we lead 15-5.
In the second half we made too many mistakes, resulting in us being under constant pressure. We struggled to get out of our own half. St John’s scored two tries and we scored a try and a penalty.
We won 23-17 but know that hard work lies ahead for the rest of the season.
