The team travelled to Waihi and came up against a vastly improved opposition. Although we lead early with a great goal by Nathan Guilford, Waihi took better advantage of their scoring opportunities and went to the break ahead 3-1. St Paul’s Colts lifted their game and had numerous scoring opportunities but Waihi defended well and ran out winners 5-3. Goals scored by Patrick Dowd, George Ott and Nathan Guilford.
