St Paul's played St John’s on their home track in difficult conditions. It was an even encounter with both sides making mistakes - dropping the slippery ball. St Paul's forwards gradually gained some ascendancy creating numerous turnovers. A try in each half; one to Aaron Humble after a great kick and chase and one to Cam Smale after several forwards drives saw St Paul's win 10-0.
The coaches were proud of the excellent defence shown by the team.
