St Paul’s is a well-resourced, progressive school with a growing reputation for excellence in music and the performing arts.

Our Head of Music is taking a year of leave in 2024 and we are looking for people to join our team to support the department during the 2024 school year.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced person with the ability to teach our junior music curriculum, who ideally also has the skillset to take on one or more of the following roles:

  • Concert Band
  • Big Band
  • Instrumental Ensembles including chamber groups and rock bands
  • Choirs
  • Ability to teach NCEA Music Level 1 -3
  • Musical Director - Production
  • Itinerant Programme coordination
  • Piano Accompanist / Organist
  • Music Technician
  • Music Department administration support

We are also accepting expressions of interest from people who may be interested in part-time/contract work assisting in one or more of the above roles. Depending on expressions of interest received, we may have the option for full-time or part-time role/s.
