Full time, Term time, 7.30am to 4.00pm
St Paul’s Collegiate School is one of Aotearoa’s leading independent Anglican day and boarding schools. With an expected 2026 roll of 970 students, we are entering an exciting new chapter. From 2026, we will welcome our first cohort of Year 9 girls, and by 2027, we will offer a fully co-educational experience from Year 9 to Year 13. At the start of 2026, we will also open The Hive, a new building in the heart of our campus.
The Hive will bring together Student Reception, a state-of-the-art Health Clinic with nurses and a drop-in Doctor, an integrated Counselling team and on-site physiotherapy. This purpose-built wellbeing centre is designed to strengthen the support we offer our rangatahi and enhance the way we care for students every day.
This newly created Student Receptionist role will play a key part in welcoming students into the Hive. As the first point of contact for student enquiries, you will greet students as they arrive, triage those seeking medical or wellbeing support and coordinate appointments across our Counselling, Nursing, Physio and Doctor services. You will also take the lead on ACC management and processing, bringing excellent relational skills when working with young people, and support our wider team by ensuring Student Services are well-prepared and well-supplied.
The role carries a strong customer service focus alongside steady administration. You will answer calls, support walk in enquiries, manage junior student mobile phone collection and assist students with timetables. You will help to keep reception and waiting spaces welcoming and calm so students feel supported as they arrive. The nature of the role means you will have your finger on the pulse and help maintain a supportive, organised and student-centred environment.
We are looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism and confidence when working with young people. Experience in a medical setting is essential, and some knowledge of ACC processes would be helpful. If you are organised, calm under pressure and excited by the opportunity to support a holistic wellbeing service, we would love to hear from you.
Applications close Friday, 19 December 2025, at 9.00 am.
