On Friday, the school celebrated the stduent achievements of 2025 at the annual prizegiving. 

Katrina L Ward Cup for Dux: Annabelle Stokes.

Trophy for Proxime Accessit: Roy Zhu.

Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards: Jesse Chen, Samuel Clausen, James Su, Roy Zhu

Dan Bryant Cup: Roy Zhu – awarded to a student who has gained their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

St Paul’s Aeronautical Trophy: Carter Horsfall – for a student continuing in the aeronautical field.

Gummer Gavel: Jinyan (Olivia) Li – for excellence in debating.

Cowan Plate: Zhining (Martina) Zhang – for continuous service to the choir.

Parr Music Trophy: Zane Merson – for excellence in orchestral music.

Rodney Hamel Cup: Olive-Rose Hapuku and Eric Joe – for the most significant contribution to culture.

Janet Cole Cup: Big Band – for excellence in performing arts.

Supreme Cultural Award: Arnah Currie – for outstanding talent and leadership across performing arts.

Davies Family Cup: Tasman Reid – best distance runner.

Wayne O’Brien Trophy: Jasmine Davis – for exceptional performance, leadership, and service in sport.

Director of Sport Award: First XI Cricket – for exceptional performance and teamwork.

Te Tapuwai ‘Excellence in Sport’ Award: Jay Benefield – top Maaori athlete who embodies sporting and cultural excellence.

Peter Gilbert Trophy: George Benjamin – outstanding male athlete.

Margaret Forsyth Trophy: Caitlin Foote – outstanding female athlete.

Cole Cup: Curtis Gower – most outstanding individual sportsperson.

Peter Hampton Innovation in Agribusiness Award: KiwiPrune team – Madeleine Anderson, Libby Meredith, Casey Purves, and Courtney Malloy.

ICT Award: Charlie Parlane – for dedication and commitment to ICT within the School and Chapel.

St Paul’s Parents’ Association Scholarship: Shaehveer Mann – Year 12 student demonstrating academic growth.

New Year 13 Award: Zhining (Martina) Zhang – for outstanding embodiment of the school’s core values.

St Paul’s Award for Year 12 and the John Oehley Cup: Aditya (Adi) Manda – for excellence in all areas of school life.

Te Hookai Nuku – Senior Maaori Academic Excellence Award: Olive-Rose Hapuku.

Headmaster’s Prizes: Jasmine Davis, Olive-Rose Hapuku, Ashley (AJ) Lake, Cameron Lalich, Lachyn Moeke, Millicent Whetu – for outstanding service and contribution across school life.

BNZ Awards: Charlotte Belz, Iona Martynoga, Georgia Roberts, Roy Zhu – for excellence in academics, leadership, sport, and culture.

G W Lander Resilience Trophy: Rosie Willson – for courage and tenacity in the face of adversity.

Te-Manu-Tawhio-Rangi Trophy: Millicent Whetu – for enhancing Kaupapa Maaori and service to Te Whaanau o Hato Paora.

De Jong Trophy: Charlie Etherington – for consistent effort and contribution in all areas of school life.

Fitchett Trophy: Annabelle (Annie) Stokes – most outstanding female leader other than Head Girl.

Luman Family Trophy: Will Peoples – most outstanding male leader other than Head Boy.

Andrea Jean Jenkins Cup: Georgia Roberts – Head Girl for 2025.

Leggatt Prize and Old Collegians’ Trophy: Roy Zhu – Head Boy for 2025.

Galatians Trophy: Sean Lester – for embodying patience, kindness, humility, and faithfulness.

Seavill Cup: Yicheng (Daniel) Zhao – for exceptional contribution across all aspects of school life.
