On Friday 30 October St Paul’s Collegiate School honoured students who have made a significant contribution to the school through their participation to culture and sport. More than 150 awards were distributed on the night, including eight Supreme Awards to the most outstanding students in sport and culture for 2015.

The 2015 Supreme Award winners were:

  • Ryan Ballantyne – Top sportsperson of the year and winner of the Cole Cup for the most outstanding performance in his chosen sport
  • Josie Butcher – The Gummer Gavel for excellence in debating
  • Sam Goodey – Janet Cole Cup for excellence in performing arts
  • Jonathan Mayer – Rodney Hamel Cup for the most significant contribution to culture
  • William Te Tomo – Wayne O’Brien Trophy for excellence in his chosen sport and contribution to the success of others reaching their potential in sport
  • U18 rowing four – Director of Sport Cup for the most outstanding sport team of the year
  • Jade Henley-Smith – Margaret Forsyth Cup for the top sportswoman of the year
  • Simon Morbey – Peter Gilbert Trophy for the top all-round sportsman of the year.
