St Paul’s Community Gala will be held on Friday 6 November at 3.30-6.00pm on the school grounds. This carnival type event, will have a primary focus to pull together our local Fairfield and Bankwood communities and provide fun and celebration post Covid-19. It will offer a range of activities, a talent quest, food stalls and a monster garage sale.
Food on offer includes sausage sizzle, nachos, pulled pork rolls, hot chips, pizza, kebabs, dumplings, butter chicken, a range of baking, Mamas Donuts, candy floss and toffee apples.
Activities include car wash, basketball, corn hole throw, sponge throw, bouncy castles, face painting, hair art and gumboot throwing. The prices for the food and activities range from $2-5. Cash only please. There is also a wonderful musical programme on offer on a stage in front of the music centre.
Funds raised from the gala will be used to support our local ‘Over the Fence Ministry’ schools – Fairfield and Bankwood Primary Schools whose communities were mostly impacted from the effects of Covid-19. We are hoping to raise $5,000 for each school.
This event is being led by our senior students.
