St Paul’s Collegiate School offers ultimate frisbee to students of all abilities.
Students who are new to ultimate frisbee will be shown the basic skills and techniques needed to play socially or competitively. Those students who wish to play at a higher competitive level are encouraged to trial for open, men’s or women’s regional competitive teams.
The ultimate frisbee programme runs in terms 1 and 4 with schools leagues being played after school at the University of Waikato fields on Wednesday afternoons. Depending on the total numbers, teams will be entered for the 5-aside competition and from this competition, consideration will be made about whether a team can be entered for the Schools National Tournament which is held during Summer Tournament Week in Taupo.
There is a small cost of $25 per player.
Trainings are on Mondays after school, 3.45-5pm, meet outside Sargood Boarding House at 3.40pm.
