Malachi Wrampling (2018–2021, Clark & Hall) made his Super Rugby debut for the Blues during their win over Moana Pasifika. A standout player during his time at St Paul’s, Malachi progressed through the provincial system and national age-grade teams, including representing New Zealand Under-20, where he was part of a successful international squad.
Tepaea Cook-Savage (2017-2019, Sargood) has also made his mark, debuting for the Chiefs in the 2026 Super Rugby season. Tepaea captained the St Paul’s First XV in 2019 and earned selection for the New Zealand Barbarian Schools side that same year. Tepaea later joined the New Zealand Rugby Sevens programme, representing New Zealand at the 2024 Summer Olympics before signing with the Chiefs ahead of this season.
The St Paul’s community is incredibly proud to see Malachi and Tepaea succeeding. We look forward to following their journeys as they continue to make their mark on the Super Rugby stage.
