Over Auckland Anniversary weekend, St Paul’s Collegiate School rowers competed at the North Island Rowing Championships at Lake Karapiro. Congratulations to the following students on their outstanding results representing St Paul’s Rowing Club:

Medal recipients:

  • First in the girls' U16 coxed quad sculls: Sophie Dunn, Zara Brangwynne, Olive Montgomerie, Freddie Savill and Reegan Isaac

  • Second in the mens' club coxless pair oars: Samuel Jefferis and Gane Harbutt

  • Second in the mens' novice coxed octuple sculls: Angus Weir, CJ Snyman, Caleb Blake, Lachlan Murphy, Te Kokoru Thompson-Evans, Harry Stevenson, George Benjamin, Tyler Tretheway and Bruno Cropper

  • Second in the girls' U16 double sculls: Sophie Dunn and Zara Brangwynne

  • Second in the boys' U16 coxed quad sculls: Drew Ellison, Cameron Ward, Finn Rayner, Kaden Robinson and Fletcher Rogers

  • Third in the mens' novice coxed quad sculls: Angus Weir, George Benjamin, Caleb Blake, Lachlan Murphy and James Verry

A Final recipients:

  • Fifth in the mens' club coxed quad sculls: Samuel Jefferis, Gane Harbutt, Liam Fairweather, Ashton Coombes and George Mackintosh

  • Seventh in the mens' intermediate coxed four: Ollie Gimblett, Caleb Ward, Drew Ellison, Kaden Robinson and Fletcher Rogers

  • Eighth in the womens' club double sculls: Georgia Wenham and Lucie Foster
