There are various application steps for the university
- Apply to enrol at a university
- Apply for scholarships to university (optional)
- Apply for accommodation at university (optional)
Applying to University
- Completing the application process costs you nothing.
- It does not commit you to attending that university, consider it more of an expression of interest than an enrolment.
- It can take up to a week to process applications
- It is the student’s responsibility to apply and enrol on time. Students should check when the specific course application closes; this can vary widely.
- Applicants need to provide certified evidence of identity. In many cases, this means either a passport or a driver’s license is photocopied and signed by a Justice of the Peace. The school arranges for a Justice of the Peace to come in to verify the ID of those who are organised. Students will be notified when this is to happen.
- Students need to access their Record of Achievement (ROA) via a login from NZQA.
- Students may apply for scholarships and halls at every university they are considering.
