Daily routine

To offer an insight into the typical day of a St Paul’s Collegiate School boarding student, an example timetable is provided below.

Boarders follow a structured weekday routine that supports healthy habits and academic focus. Rising and bedtime vary by year level to reflect students’ growing independence:

  • Year 9: Wake at 6.30am, bedtime at 9.00pm
  • Year 10: Wake at 6.40am, bedtime at 9.15pm
  • Year 11: Wake at 6.50am, bedtime at 9.30pm
  • Year 12: Wake at 7.00am, bedtime at 9.45pm
  • Year 13: Wake at 7.10am, bedtime at 10.00pm

Daily Routine 

  • 6:10 am – Morning exercise (Term 1)
  • 6:30-7:00 am – Rising by year level
  • 7:00 am – Breakfast
  • 8:00 am – House meeting (Monday); Chapel (Tuesday and Thursday); Assembly (Friday)
  • 8:30 am – Classes begin
  • 10:15 am – Morning tea
  • 1:00 pm – Lunch
  • 3:30 pm – Classes end (afternoon tea available)
  • 3:45 pm – Sports practice or music/cultural rehearsals
  • 5:30 pm – Dinner (formal dinner on Thursday)
  • 6:30-8:00 pm – Prep (supervised homework time)
  • 9:00-10:00 pm – Bedtime by year level

School begins at 8:45 am on Wednesday, allowing boarding students a later rising and breakfast time.
