St Paul’s Collegiate School offers rock climbing as a summer and winter sport option to students from Year 10 to Year 13.
The sport is open to students of all abilities. Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday at the Extreme Edge indoor climbing gym in Hamilton.
Students compete in both regional and national competitions including:
- New Zealand climbing championships
- National Series, Hamilton
A sports levy applies to this sport. Qualifying and national tournament fees and travel and accommodation costs are disbursed to students' accounts accordingly.
